Hello. How are you? I am an English student, but I had worked a lot before being here. I was a public servant and now I’m trying to do other things, like to be a writer, to study and manage the house. We are watching “America”, a new soap opera by Glória Peres. She is writing a lot about the life of the Brazilians in Miami. There is a girl, Sol, and she is trying to win in the U.S., to be rich and help her family. Now, she is pregnant and returned to Brazil… Well, this is the story, but I don’t like to spend my free time watching TV. I prefer movies. We have cable TV and we can watch a lot of films from the U.S. After all, we are learning a lot of English and about the American style of life. It is so different!
