Sangsoon and Chong and all students,

Paula mentioned in her post if you knew "Havaianas". They are very popular flip flops made in Brazil. They are even known abroad as "Brazilian Flip Flops". Take a look at the pictures of some Havaianas.
It's funny because in Brazil they are pretty cheap, like $ 7 and abroad they cost a fortune!

Hi, Carla (and everyone).

I was surprised to find that a spa in Phoenix (Suddenly Slimmer) sells havaianas:

I also found this source on the WWW:

They're really colorful, trendy flip-flops!

I don't know much about "Hawaianas" but they seem very colorful. My question is are these flip-flops only for girls or do boys wear them, too?

I like those "Hawaianas," and during the summer I used to wear them. They are really useful because they are "the fashion stuff" (LOL). I have many pairs in different colors: yellow, black, white, blue, brown, etc. In Mexico they are called sandalias or chandas.

Carla,

I had never seen any "Havaianas" at all until you showed them to us. I have never seen them in Phoenix, but the colors are very bright and unusual. The regular flip-flops are now used here regularly.
