Olá to Carla, Selma, and students.
Wow!
I was amazed last night when Carla and I were both publishing photos and introductions, and I was amazed even more this afternoon when I saw the messages for María, Mariana, Dr. Jesús, Esmeralda, Edith, and Ruth from Marilda and Karina, Luis Fernando and Daise, Carla, and others.
Carla wrote this to my students: "I'm delighted to read your introductions! You are such an eclectic and multicultural group . . . ." I feel exactly the same way. Your introductions were very impressive and, like my group, you showed a fantastic variety of careers, favorite pastimes, goals, and personal comments.
Carla also wrote that she considers me a dear friend even though we have never met face to face. I feel the same way about her! We "met" last summer, when we were taking an online class together. Our friendship has continued, and gotten better and better!
In addition, I have the same feelings about my students that Carla does about the students at CTJ: like all of you, my students are "fantastic human beings" and they also "enlighten my week."
My students and I look forward to our joint project!

It is our pleasure, Dennis!
This is a very special group to me because they've been my students since last year. So we are a real community! We learn, share and have fun all the time. And everybody is pretty connected. We have a class blog for a reading project on Edgar Allan Poe. Now, we are about to start other kinds of readings.

Hope to see much interaction going on here!

No, it is our pleasure! (Actually, I think the pleasure is mutual.)
The class blog on "The Pit and the Pendulum" is wonderful! How I enjoyed reading the comments on Part 3!
I think the interaction here is pretty good right now. I hope it continues!
Beijinhos!
Dennis
