Hi all!

I'm Marilda. I work part-time every day, but my life is really busy.

I have two children, Flávia (11) and Amanda (9). I live for my kids. I help them do their homework and their school work. I take them twice a week to their English course at Casa Thomas Jefferson. At night, I take care of my kids. I talk to them every night to know about their school and to know how their day was.

While they have English classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning, I have English classes, too. Besides, on Tuesdays and Thursdays I go to my French course. I love to study foreign languages.

On Saturday morning, I go out with my family. Sometimes we go to the club or to the City Park.
In the afternoon, we go to the Shopping Mall.

On Sundays, we usually go to church. We are Catholic. In the afternoon, we often stay home and have our friends and family there. My family is really big.

Fortunately, I have two vacations a year and we always travel. I love it!

Well, this is my life in a nutshell!

Marilda

It sounds as if your life is busy, yes, but also full and rich—and with several different centers. This is wonderful! I'm very glad you are able to spend so much time with your family.

I'm also glad you and your family travel during your vacations. What are some of the places that you've visited?

Best wishes—

Dennis

Hello, Marilda.

I live for kids also. I just wrote a children's book on going to the Dentist. I know some children are scared of the Dentist so I wanted to write something to make them feel more comfortable. How do your children react to the Dentist?

Hi, Marilda.

Wow, what a busy life. I have no problem saying women are stronger, at least mentally. I complain about not enough time to watch the World Cup, and I don't do half as much as you. Go Netherlands... right?

Hi, Dennis.
On July 5, I traveled to Venezuela. I knew Isla Margarita. I went with my husband and my kids, ages 11 and 9.
As you said, fortunatelly I have much time to spend with my family because I work only a part-time.
We loved Venezuela. It was an oportunity to speak a little Spanish and to know a new culture.
We spend only 10 days, but it was enough.
I`ve already known California, Miami, Disneyworld and a lot of states of Brazil.
I intend to know other countries as soon as I can.
And about you?

Hi, Rebbeca.
I think you did an interesting thing: wrote a children`s book on going to Dentist. What do you say on your book? some advices for parents and children?
In fact my children don`t like well go to the dentist, but I take them twice a year: in July and in January, just to do prevention because their teeth are so good.
I take them since they were six months.
I prefer the prevention.
Their dentist is fantastic, in each time we go there, she gives a little gift for the children, her office is so pleasant and decorated for the children.
She puts music for the children and plays a lot with them. So the children love her a lot.
I talk with my kids that the better thing to do is a prevention, to avoid that the tooth aches.
Fortunatelly, they never had a toothache.
Can you tell me more about your book... I`m so interested.

Hi,RUBEN,
The World Cup finished and Brazil didn`t do nothing interesting, isn`t? But life goes on...
What do you do in your free time?
Do you have kids?
Have you ever been to Brazil?
I have a busy life, but I have a lot of pleasures, too.
See you later

Hello, Gaby.
I`m so happy to talk to you.
I guess your book is so interesting. Me and my husband and my kids love a lot to read.
My kids, ages 11 and 9 read almost all books for kids, such Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Cinderella.
As they grew up, they now love fiction story, books for teenagers, poems.
fortunatelly, they like to read, even newspaper.
On Saturdays in the afternoon, I always take them to a fantastic bookstore called Cultura.
Do you have just one book or more?
Marilda
