The Midnight Woman
The midnight woman is a famous folktale all around the world.
It is about the appearance of a very beautiful woman dressed in white or red.
People say she was muredered but still doesn't know it. So she walks around like a lost soul. She doesn't appear at midnight, that's actually the time she disappears.
The lady shows up as a normal girl to guys who are alone in bars. She sits and asks them to take her to her home. All men get crazy because she is so pretty and say yes. They walk together and when they get to a very high wall she says there is where she lives.
Then the man sees they're near a cemitery and before he says anything the church bells tells him it's midnight and she disappears.
Other times she shows up by deserted roads asking for rides and the same thing happens. In front of the cemitery she invites the driver to come in her home. He gets very scared when he sees it's the cemitery and watches her disappear exactly at midnight.

Hi, Fellipe.
What a fascinating story! I think there's a similar one here, but I don't remember the details.
When I read about "The Midnight Woman," I realized that while the standard folk tales in the U.S. have a European origin, different regions have their own folk tales—which often have their origins in Native American (the coyote stories and raven tories), Mexican (the La Llorona [Crying Woman] and La Lechuza stories), African (the Anansi / 'Aunt Nancy' stories) and others.
There are even regional folktales, such as the ones about Paul Bunyan.
What a fascinating story! What a fascinating topic!
