My name is Desiree Montes. I was born and rasied in Phoenix, Arizona, and currently live in Glendale, Arizona. I am soon to be 20 (in 3 months). I am a full-time student at Estrella Mountain Community College. I work part time. I am currently taken (have a boyfriend). I am going to become a K-2nd grade teacher. I like to relax with my friends and boyfriend. I like to do other fun stuff too.

I'm Carla. I'm an English teacher here in Brasilia, Brazil. I love my family and my work. My life is a pretty hectic one, but I have lots of fun. Nice to know that you want to be a teacher, too. So, are you majoring in teaching? What subjects will you teach?

I want to become just a kindergarten teacher. so I wouldnt be teaching a spcific subject. I like to hang out with my boyfriend and my closest friends. We go out to movies and this weekend we are going to a haunted house.I also like to swim, I also like to drink, even though I am not old enough to yet.

Dear Desiree,
You would have to come to Brazil to see the many entertainment options we have around. Brazilians love to have fun, hang out with friends, invite friends over, etc... I live in Brasilia, so I'd say that the only thing missing here is the beach! People from Brasilia generally travel to the beach on the holidays.
The drinking age in Brazil is 18, but you see many younger people drinking...Many of them don't respect the law and it is not reinforced as it should be. Here in Brazil, this law is a national one and not a state one as it happens to you in the US.
About teaching? Well, what can I say? I just love it. I have the greatest time with my groups and this feeling of fullfillment when I sense they're learning!

Well I was amazed about the drinking age. I Wish it was 18 In the US. Im glad you love to teach and have a great time. Sounds like it is a very fun and enviorment place. Yeah, I don't live in a state that has a beach so I would love to travel to a state that has a beach.Well thank you for the information about ur country and things to do that are fun.
