Dear all,
Great to notice that most of you go for the humanistic and humanitarian aspect of adoption, which is a serious problem throughout the world. There are so many little ones in need, need of affection, food, education...I agree with you that Madonna has the right to adopt any kid, just like any ordinary person, and this should be her own business, but people make a big deal out of it just because she's famous. If she's saving someone's life, isn't it positive? And how about the kid's father? Do you think he did the right thing in letting his own kid be adopted? Would you adopt a child? Why/Why not?
Hoping to read more on the subject and get to know your opinions.

I think adoption is a great thinG, especially when the child would be brought up better with their foster parents. I would definitly think about adopting if I couldnt concieve a child because one day i would love to be a mother.
Dear Carla, I think the father made the right choice to let his son be abopted because now his son will have a better life, food, shelter, clothing. I would love to abopt a child. I love children and i would love to help them in any way that i can. Adopting children is always positive because it is giving that child a chance at a better life.
I think the adoption is a good thing because it teaches you to be a good parent.

well I think that it is a good thing that Madonna adopted a kid becouse she wants to give somebody a normal life. I think that the his dad did a good thing by giving him up because he knows that he could not give him a normal live

In my opinion, I think the father did the right thing because he couldn't raise him. First I am going to try to make my own and if I can't than yes i would adopt a child.

I think it is positive that she's adopting if it saves a person's life and also improves their life then it's great for that person. I think the father is doing the right thing in letting his kid have a chance to live a better life and also letting him live instead of maybe having his kid die from not being taken care of. If I had a chance to adopt, I would because I love children and it would be better for the child instead of being in a foster care home.
Dear Carla, Here is what i think about what Madonna's doing. If she's saving someone's life, it's absolutely right because she's giving him a better life than his father can give to him. I would adopt a child too if I could.

I would adopted a child. The few reaons I would are; saving a childs life,not being able to have kids, and I also would like to adoopted a child from a different country. I would first try and have a kid myself and if I can't then I would adopted a child,would it either be from the US or a different country. So therefore, I think the father did the right thing, having the foster parents raise the child better.

I think that the little boy's father did the right thing, if he knew he couldn't raise his child. No i wouldn't adopt any kids because they don't appreciate anything.
Dear Carla: In my opinion Madonna is doing the right choice of adopting a child in need. Madonna has alot of money is good that she is using her money to help others need.
I think Madonna is an ordinary person that should have rights to adopt a kid if she wants despite her fame.In my personal opinion its positive because it's another kid not starving, and can live his life better than his father before him. If I was able to adopt, I wouldn't cause i'm just not a good person to look up to.

I think he did the right thing in letting his own kid be adopted because he knew that he couldn't take care of his kid, so why not give the baby to her. Because she is famous and rich, she can better take care of his kid and his kid will have more opportunities to build best career.

In my opinion, Madonna is saving a life because if the mother died,
and the father doesn't have the money to take care of the baby I think is a positive thing to adopt a baby. In my case I always have been thinking about in adopt a baby, I hope one day I will do it.In my opinion, evrebody should adopt a baby, but not evrebody want, or someone wants, but she/he can't do it, so if you can and want please do it.

I think the father of the child that Madonna adopted made the right decision to let his son be adopted especial for the person who is she. With this deal the child will have the oportunity to be successful in his life, and in a future he will help another kids from the orphanage were he grow up, and he would help his own father. Concerning about if I would adopt a child, in the past I and my husband intented to adopt a boy but we had many obstacles because we not fulfilled the necessary requirements. Thus, now we have adopt a girl from Children International in Michoacan Mexico, but we only send money each month to support her. We are happy with this choice.

This is my point of view about the kid's father. Although it a hard decision for his father to make as he has to be parted from his kid, he made the right choice by letting his own kid be adopted by Madonna, and he couldn't afford the money to treat his kid's sickness and give him a better future. As for myself i would adopt a child if i could afford to give the child a better future; to lived.

I have two boys. Their ages are 15 and 10, but I would like to adopt a ittle kid in the future. I would like to share my time and love with someone who needs me and give him a true family, but I am just waiting improve my English as second language in order to look for a job because I want to have a good income to be able to offer the kid a safe education.

I just loved to read your opinion about adoption. In fact, I noticed that you are really positive about adoption and most of you would adopt a child if you could and some of you are actually considering the possibility. In my case, I have two boys, Dudu and Caio. They are 6 and 4. I won't have any more kids of my own, but my husband and I decided that if, in the future, we felt like having more kids we would adopt them. We've already given our contribution to the world, so we feel like giving our share to someone who needs it.
I have a dear friend,Conception, who is waiting to adopt a baby. Here in Brazil you have to start the adoption process and it may take years. In her case, she'll have to wait up to three years to hold and hug her baby...Conception is really excited about the adoption. I'll ask her to give her testimonial here for us.
Freddie, I'm sure you could be a good father if you wanted to! Why do you say you are "not a good person"?
Well, my only questioning in this whole situtation is the following: If someone does not have the financial or psychological condition to have a baby, why would he/she do it and then give this little defenseless creature for adoption? Shouldn't people be more careful about their own kid's destiny?
